Parks & Trails

Dean’s has had the opportunity to help many communities by improving their trails and parks. As the general contractor we work closely with the engineer / architect and the owner to keep the project on budget and within time constraints. With our highly qualified subcontractors, we can handle a wide range of projects.

Here are a couple of completed projects:

White Pine Trail: The Fred Meijer White Pine Trail runs from Comstock Park to Cadillac and follows the route of an old railroad bed. Dean's had the pleasure of completing eight miles of the trail reconstruction, starting at Russell Road in Cedar Springs and going north where the pavement currently ends in Sand Lake at Pine Street. The project included two wood beam bridges, numerous road crossings, and final paving of the entire eight mile section. The trail is used by walkers, bike riders, and snowmobile’s in the winter.
